When it comes to vitamins and supplements, it’s easy to get lost in the sea of options available. With so many products claiming to boost your health, it’s tempting to fill up your cart. But before you do, it’s crucial to know what your body really needs. Instead of wasting your money on supplements that might end up just making your urine more vitamin-rich, consider a more personalized approach by consulting your healthcare provider.
The Truth Behind “Adrenal Fatigue”
To be blunt – the abundance of non-medical persons using TikTok and Instagram to instill fear in their audience is an issue that medical professionals fight every day. One example that comes about frequently is the concern of “adrenal fatigue.”
“Adrenal fatigue” is a term coined in the late 1990s by an alternative medicine provider to suggest that the adrenal glands have become exhausted and can no longer produce adequate levels of the hormone cortisol due to chronic stress or infections. The diagnosis is not recognized by scientific or medical communities and should not be confused with actual disorders of the adrenal gland.

BOOSTING YOUR BONE HEALTH
Bones weaken with age in both men and women. However, bone health is an especially important topic for women due to the negative effects of menopause. With the loss of estrogen comes a dramatic shift in our bone homeostasis and we begin to see bone cells breaking down faster than new ones are built. This can lead to a condition known as osteoporosis which places us at increased risk of fractures.
