LBMD ACHIEVES 500-PATIENTS
Laurie Birkholz, MD & Associates (LBMD), the Lakeshore’s first concierge medicine and direct primary care clinic, today announced it nearly doubled its patient panel overall during 2023 and the practice has surpassed the 500-patient milestone.
LBMD’s Concierge and Direct Primary Care (DPC) practices provide accessible and affordable membership health care for West Michigan individuals, families, and small businesses of all backgrounds. During 2023, LBMD also launched Empower Obesity Management, a personalized weight-loss program that involves positive self-reflection and goal setting to act and get results.

Dr. Laurie Birkholz is a board-certified family medicine physician and fellowship-trained Women’s Health specialist. She believes in the importance of caring for the whole person through a holistic approach based in precision lifestyle medicine and prevention. Angela Burch is a certified physician’s assistant with experience in internal medicine, pediatric care, women’s health, and obesity management. She is also credentialed as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner.
